As a recent graduate, social media marketing wasn't something I thought about doing, so I'm surprised to be working in this field. My first job was working for a fast-food restaurant, and it taught me how to engage with, listen to, and interact with the public. Working in fast food gave me a sample of what people want, what grabs their attention, and great lessons on keeping people satisfied. I'd been helping WTE promote special events and engage with the public in person over the last year. So when Eric asked me to join the team to officially take on more marketing responsibilities, I knew he and WTE would appreciate my fresh take on social media marketing.
