I coordinate and oversee our software and web application development teams, and help find solutions to software and coding challenges. I engineer, design and create new applications, developing new features for clients and internal projects. I also maintain, monitor, and perform upgrades and enhancements on existing applications.
Software development in the areas of Ecommerce, Finance (banking applications), Webservice and Apllications Program Interface (API) integrations, Telecommunication, Database management, and custom software integration.
I hold a Master's degree in computer science focusing on Telecommunication and Networking. I did not get into the Information Technology (IT) business until I started working on my master's thesis. First, I worked as a research assistant with Motorola's Telecommunication and Networking Lab at Florida Atlantic University. Then, I went to work as an intern with T-VEC technologies maintaining their T-VEC software suite, which is software used to test software used in cars, airplanes, and military equipment.
After graduation, I stayed on for another year. Unfortunately, that business sector was not doing well then, and the company folded. In 2010, I started working as a contractor for WTE on our PointShop Enterprise ecom software while doing odd jobs for local restaurants and realtors in Florida. In 2018, I moved to North Carolina and joined WTE full-time to lead our development team.
