Managing your Employee’s Identity in the Cloud

Partner Identity is difficult to manage because partners and suppliers are not employees. Many times you have little say so in how their systems are built.  WTE Solutions is that partner in many cases. Large companies face the task of managing User ID's and passwords for large group of users on the partner systems. Enforcing your password policy when the system is outside of the building can be a burden. In the past, it drove many IT departments to build the solutions in house. (SSO).  Recently Comcast came to WTE Solutions with the challenge of how to mange the users in some of their divisions with an internal purchasing application.

Thousands of users have user names and passwords on this purchasing system. When an employee is no longer with Comcast, a quick and easy way to lock them out is needed. Comcast has already partnered with Ping Identity for Ping Federated, a great product. 

WTE Solutions gives Comcast the ability to easily remove the authentication process (the User / Pwd) from the Purchasing App and allow the users to Authenticate off the Comcast network. We predict that the many hours a year will be saved in productivity by user not doing the “Lost Password” function alone.
