I manage sales and content for new client sites on WTE's AgileSite and AgileSiteLite website development platforms. These platforms, designed for small businesses, create custom, secure, mission-critical websites. I also act as Project Manager and Support for SSL certificates, server maintenance and resets, and technical troubleshooting.
Project Management and Sales
My degrees in Environmental Science and Biology from UNC-Chapel Hill works great for Information Technology (IT) because both require attention to detail and understanding relationships between complex systems. After working in environmental testing and materials recycling for ten years, I moved into sales, becoming an IT recruiter. I took a small hiatus from IT to work for my family’s engineering firm. My WTE work began as after-hours support, and I added project management, sales, and content management duties after becoming a full-time WTE team member in May 2012.
In my spare time, I like to help in my community wherever I can! I help host community events at my family’s national historic Christian Campground site in Catawba, NC and work in the background helping multiple groups with a variety of needs. I manage the websites and Facebook pages for The Sherrills Ford Food pantry, Balls Creek Campground, and for the Boy Scout troop where I'm the Assistant Scoutmaster. I coached youth soccer for eight years, and served five years as the president of the local sports organization.
